Engine Head repair for marine two cylinder engine?
I have a volvo md7a head that has a hole rusted in the head. They are obsolete. Is there a way to repair it. A material that will stick to the interior that doesn"t require welding? Or does someone know where I can find another head.
If the hole is in the cooling jacket it can be filled with J B WELD. This stuff is a two part epoxy and works quite well if the surface is properly cleaned. Auto parts stores carry it.
