What is the hardest to weld with, Oxy, stick, or tig?
I know mig is supposed to be easy, but which is the toughest?
I would say that oxy/acetylene would be. Yes tig you are using 2 arms and one leg but you can control the "heat" by the foot pedal and prevent burn through. In oxy/acetylene you are always on the edge of burning your work up or not penetrating at all, you can only control the heat by keeping your torch moving or take it away from your work then it causes difficulty in the restart. You use both arms like tig but you have no control over the heat like tig. Tig you just back off the pedal to reduce the heat and prevent burn through. (Just my opinion)
