What are the dangers of having welded in ball joints on your lower control arms.1989 buick lesabre t-type.?
1989 buick lesabre t-type coupe. car has grand touring suspension. parts are new ball joints, original lower control arms . tech said he has done it many times to newer cars and no failures ever. should i just get new control arms and just see about getting a partial refund?
Never of heard of anyone doing this, as by definition the ball joint has to move so you can steer the car. so you must be talking about the bolt that attaches the joint. Get another opinion from a certified mechanic ASAP!
