I work for a construction company and the large expensive tools go missing from time to time. They travel to diffrent sites as well.
Is there some sort of GPS tracking device that can be hidden in the tools? Eg. welder.
Do you know of any sites in Australia?
Or anywhere?
Any other ideas?
There's a device made specifically for what you want.
The MobileLock requires a CDMA cellular network, but that's not a problem for you in Australia.
Coincidentally, I've been developing software for another device by the same company that manufactures the devices for Dewalt.
These devices are amazing... the battery last weeks on a charge and they can be placed in all types of environments where GPS usually doesn't work well.
