1998 Olds LSS Broken Rear Control Arm Help?
Hi, I have a 1998 Oldsmobile LSS and my rear Control Arm snapped off, as seen in the picture, l have removed everything but the two bolts that connect the end of the Arm to the part welded on the car. I have tried almost everything to remove them so that I could replace the arm but they seem as if they are just stuck permanetly. The car is my only means of transportation and the only thing keeping me from replacing the arm are the two stubborn bolts. PLEASE REFER TO THE PICTURE FOR DETAILED EXPLAINATION. To make matters even worse, the nuts holding the bolts are getting stripped. Please if you have any suggestions of what to do, then it would gladly be appreciated. Propane doesn't generate enough heat. You'll need acetylene and oxygen torch set to get the heat you need to make the nuts cherry red all the way around.
