why pay for a water meter when i won't own it?
My husband and I just paid for a water meter, $795.00, to get water service out to our lot. The water company is the only place to get the water meter from. Isn't that considered a monopoly? As soon as the water meter goes into the ground, we do not own it anymore, the water company does. wht should we have to buy it from them and not even own it? Does anyone else think that this is a scam?
That is the way it works, now remember if that meter ever breaks or stop working for some reason you DON'T pay for a new one again, they do. You actualy only pay for the connection and not the meter that is the way it works. Ya I know it sounds crazy.
