Disposal of old batteries ........?
We all use batteries for torches, radios and the like and the packaging always tells you not to dispose of with the normal rubbish. Okay, dispose of responsibly, granted, but where exactly should we take old batteries? And how many of you just pop them in the trashcan anyway?
I assume in the British Isles that somewhere there are recycling centers? If there aren't well, you may try the local council for help.
Never throw them in the trash, all batteries have metals that are considered "heavy" and are prone to cause quite a number of problems in the environment.
