What is a good brand of fish tank filter/pump? I need one with a lot of power.?
I have an 80 gal tank that is about half full for a slider turtle. The "Whisper" pump that came with it doesn't have enough power to "lift" the water into the filter assembly. I need something that will pull about 14" of head pressure.
For turtles I'd go with a Magnum - Ehiems are excellent filters but rather expensive for a turtle tank. Magnums usually have a stronger output anyway!
