How could this happen !! >>?
ok so i wanted to do a jacket potato so i went on the internet and looked for a recipe i've 2 potatoes in the microwave and i set it to 10 mins but after like 8 my microwave broke it just stopped working
while the potatoes were in it steam was coming out not SMOKE just steam from potatoes so anyone know what could happen to my microwave is there any way to fix it and did this happen to yours
thank You people
The potatoes did not cause the malfunction. Your microwave crapped out on its own. If any steam from the potatoes caused any damage to any circuits, you had a bad seal and it was going to happen sooner or later. FYI..You cannot bake a potato wrapped in foil in the oven. It will steam in its own juices inside the foil. Baking is cooking with dry heat. The only way to bake a potato properly is to rub the outside of it very lightly with an oil of your choice, corn, vegetable, canola, even olive oil if you wish, and place on a rack or pan in the oven.
