How do I stop a loud wind noise on the drivers side of a 2000 Chevy Silverado reg cab??
I got a good deal on the truck when I bought it. I asked the guy I bought it from if he ever figured out what the wind noise was. He said one of the hinge bushings fell off and that's when the noise started. I priced the part I need at a local chevy dealership at $139!
I was wondering if anybody has had a similar problem?
Those hinges go bad all the time. When that happens the door no longer is aligned and the door weather seals cannot seal properly, thus the wind noise. Get the hinge repaired soon and remember to do the upper as well as the lower one.
