So yesterday I went fishing! So much fun!?
I've been asking a few things about fishing the last few days, and they helped greatly, but yesterday we went, and it was so MUCH FUN! A great time with the family! One thing was wrong
All of our fishing poles were getting tangled, and they had so much slack on them! We just spooled them yesterday, but I'm not sure if we did it right. Any tips would help!
We kept on getting tons of bites, but the fish would just steal our bait, any idea on how to catch the fish when it bites? I had plenty of bites, but what is the proper way to set the hook? I'm planning on gettting some split shot weights today. I'm fishing for trout!

l last went on thursday and didn't even get a bite.
let the line run through your fingers when reeling so to keep tension on it and avoiding slack in the reel. also try to keep your line from twisting when you fill your reels.
when you get a bite, reel in your slack and let the fish tighten up the line on his own. and when you can feel his weight with the rod, only then set the hook.
