How do I dispose of expired medications?
Can I safely flush them down the toilet? Should I leave in pill container (with child safety cap) and dispose of it in the trash?
Any ideas?
Do not flush them down the drain. The sewage plant will not be able to take the drug out of the water and it will go right on down to the river and into the sea. Take them to the drug store.
