Awesome! I've already been recommending this band to a lot of people. What a lot of people don't know is Al of Ministry & Jello Biafra of course from Dead Kennedys, both lived in Colorado at one time when they were young. They first met each other at Ramones show in Colorado. Years passed while Jello went west to California, Al went east to Illinois, but at one point Al was in Massachussetts & met the Blackouts from Seattle. This is where Al met Paul Barker & couple of other future Ministy members for the first time, while Paul & Bill & Roland was still in the Blackouts. The Blackouts moved to California & split & Paul, Bill & Roland went to join Ministry with Al starting with Paul. Before Ministry Al Jorgenson played guitar for a punk band named Special Affect. Anyway Jello Biafra's Dead Kennedys band got punk fame, while Ministry got their underground fame. They touched base with each other again & ironically enough while Ministry still had a "light" techno sound, Al & Jello were on a tv talk show griping about PMRC that Al Gore's wife---Tipper Gore had started. Anyway Jello had already done a project band with Christian Death members called Christian Lunch. Then Dead Kennedys had called it quits, while Ministry's sound had started changing harder & harder to the sound it is now. While Jello started doing music projects, the other Dead Kennedy Members started other bands & projects as well. Jello also started doing a lot of spoken word albums. Anyway at some point by around then, with Jello having more free time of sorts & Ministry touring a lot at some point, Jello & Al talked about doing work together & what do you know, they had great chemistry working together & so at this point, there's already 3 albums Lard's made to date. Which by the way, "Forkboy" on their 2nd album got used for the "Natural Born Killers" soundtrack. Which one of the songs on that album--"The Last Temptation of Reid" is a very long song, which for punks that's not very common, but nonetheless the song titled "I am your Clock" is about 15 & half minutes long.
