I recently found a black heavy rubber pvc valve that has split open. Any ideas on the repair cost?
Also there is a heavy steel rod close to it that starts with a bolt near the front behind my left light (hooked up to something) and follows all the way past this pvc valve down to something. Also I was told my heater core is leaking. Not heavily but just a drip. I have plenty of oil in it and coolant. But my check oil lite still comes on. Any ideas on the repair cost for the heater core and this rod or pvc valve?
its possible that because the pcv valve is split open, its not building up enough oil pressure, which would make the oil light come on.
call around for prices. replacing the heater core takes a little while so its the labor you're mostly paying for,
