We have installed an oversized HVAC system. The blower makes a loud noise every time it comes on?
Is there is any 'speed regulator' that allows the voltage to be provided gradually to the blower? (kind of the new air handlers). Thanks in advance.
Best idea is to call the company that installed it and tell them the problem. They can usually modify it.
I deal with Carrier furnaces... If I were to do anything, I would swap the two heat and cool wires from the blower to the board, the black one being on cool, the blue on heat changing to blue on cool, black on heat. I don't recommend you do this if you don't know what you are doing, but it most likely IS adjustable.
If the install was recent, there is usually a warranty period on the furnace, with the company I work for, there is 3 months labor warranty. On monday, call them up and see what they can do. Don't call on the weekend and make some poor guy on call come out to do that and not get paid a cent, because nobody likes to work for free.
