i want to work in oil field what i need to learn?

i'm instrument engineer in water field and want to go to oil field what i need to learn about??? instruments,valves,calibration or what plz help

The controls in the oil field are no different than those in many other industries. They control pressure, flow, level and temperature.

If you are a qualified instrument engineer, you should be able to move into the oil field and have little problem adapting.
