Currently, I am planning on applying to Alfred College of Technology in New York, because they offer not only automotive technology, but also diesel tech, auto body repair, heavy machinery tech, and the one that is most important to me, motorsports technology. They also offer a course on welding, which is really awesome. I can't really find any other colleges that have a really strong motorsports program besides the NASCAR Institute of Technology all the way in North Carolina. I live in Massachusetts and I'd prefer to stay up here because this is where all of my family is. But do you know of any other colleges around the northeast or even anywhere that offer good motorsports technology programs? I hope to some day build engines in Formula 1 or NASCAR, but that probably won't happen, so I'd probably try and get a job with a small race team somewhere.
