The wire speed on my Miller 175 welder is stuck?
I have a 2002 millermatic 175, 220v, mig welder. The wire speed doesn't change. It is stuck at a high speed, and also the amperage control doesn't work. It still welds, but wire speed is too high. I had someone suggest a pad pc board. Any help would be great. I would like to fix it myself if possible.
sorry, I meant a bad pc board, not a pad pc board.
The pc board is easy to replace, but it is $385 to purchase it. I'm trying to trouble shoot it before i throw money at a guess. Maybe a capacitor or something on the board I might be able to solder and replace rather than buy a new one.
