there's the link if you think this is a hoax, Coors and Miller have created a joint venture, effectively creating a 2 company market in the United States for the Big Brewers, A-B and now Coors and Miller. What do you think the effect will be on the american mass beer market, beer costs and flavor profiles. I will award a best awnser, so think carefully on it and please, if you cant give more then a 4 word answer, you likely wont hit the spot Unless it was "More reasons to Homebrew" or something along those lines. This is bad for the beer industy. This means that 80% of the beer market is controlled by two companies, its called a duopoly. It really creates a problem for other competitors because the resources of the giants (Miller/Coors and AB) are limitless in comparison to the little guys. The industry will inveitably go through a phase where mergers take place everywhere to avoid being wiped out by the big guys.
