I should know this but.....?
I know I should know this, but when I was cleaning my shotgun today and had all the parts laid out nice and neat on the kitchen counter then my momma had to go move it all.
Well, I take the stuff off in the order it came off in and in the way it came off (call me weird.. helps me not confuse anything lol)... but because of her moving it.. I have forgotten which way this (link below) is supposed to go on my shotgun.
Help?

With the first link, the part closer to my thumb goes away from the action.. right? [the move-y circle end goes up right?]

With that link.. whats in my hand in the link before the 2nd one (forgot the name) goes on then the O-Ring?
My shotgun is a Escort 20 ga semi auto..
Thanks in advance.
Thanks.. I've read over the manual twice and it doesnt help me too much
Based upon the 2nd link with the piston on the magazine tube and the owner's manual pictures, it appears to be on the correct way. I know with the old Remington 1100's, if you didn't get the orientation of the piston ring right on them, they wouldn't cycle the action properly. However, the piston on them is way different than yours.
EDIT: Just some added info, if you look at the owners manual and go to the very end where it shows disassembly pictures, if you look at picture 29, it's very blurry when magnified, but you can see a slight taper to the magazine cap side. Your part also has a very slight taper on the ring side (how you have it installed in your 2nd picture). I know this is kind of a guessing game, but I'm just trying to help in any way I can. Google doesn't seem to be yielding any new information other than the manual which eferrell01 provided a link to. You may also try to directly contact Hatsan at this email address - info@hatsan.com.tr and show them your pictures and see if they can give you detailed reassembly instructions.
