Which starter lens is best all around or recommended to buy Canon eos 40d with?
Which lens is best all around. I am going to buy one that comes with 28-135mm lens. Is this a good all around lens or good lens in general?
If 28-135mm is your only lens, it will not be wide enough for 40D. 40D has a 1.6x crop factor, so your lens will become 45-215mm. I would consider the following zoom lenses :-
- Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS ($$$$)
- Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS ($$)
- Sigma DC 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 ($)
