L/C Tank circuit Resonant frequency?
C equals 1mfd Resonant frequency equals 2600 Hz what is the value of the Inductor,its a hand wound Inductor and I thought that finding Frequency resonant would be the best way of determining the value http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LC_circuit

Thanks again billruss I had to run that equation thru a few times to get it but now I understand it
f = 1/(2π√(LC))
is that really 1 mF, 1000µF ?
2600 = 1/(2π√(L(0.001)))
√(L(0.001)) = 1/2π2600
L(0.001) = (1/2π2600)² = 3.75e-9
L = 3.75 µH
If that is 1µF, L = 3.75 mH
.
