how do you get the peacock colors in copper? With heat only?
I'm starting a new hobby. I'm making copper sculptures using solid copper wire and copper in sheet form. I started using a torch (propane brazing torch)to change the color of the copper, but i can only make the copper turn white, yellow, orange and red. After red, my copper turns dark gray, almost black. I want to get the green, blue and purple.
