how can we control a door latch opener using GSM and also program it to inform us in case of a security risk?
the door latch opener must also be programmeable to be used for different phone no.s................it would be great if someone could provide me with the circuit diagram or even some basic info....thanx in advance!!
You mean, using a door latch, like a relay - and using a mobile phone to indicate if the relay changes states (from on to off).
You would either need a circuit with a microprocessor (too complicated for here), or you'd need to write software for the mobile phone.
HOWEVER
You could use a relay, connected to the serial port of a pc - which then calls a website that offers SMS alerts etc - or if you purchase an SMS gateway (small device connects to pc via rs232/serial, will send SMS if data sent to the device).
