fuel and temperature gauges?
1990/1993 Ford Transit Model 120 fuel and temperature gauges stopped working after mig welding repairs. Could it be voltage stabiliser if so were is it located?? or could it be a separate problem.
there is usually a voltage stabilizer on the back of the cluster, also there is a voltage regulator built into the alternator, or it can be separate, if you weld with out disconnecting the alternator you run the risk of blowing the diodes in the alternator, but then you would have power , but the battery would not charge up and go flat..
