fuel gauge doesnt read full when filling up with gas?
2007 ford mustang. sometimes when i fill this car with gas the fuel gauge wont read full and the gas pump stops pumping gas to the car at the 3/4 mark. is there any way to make it read full? i heard that if i tilt the gas pump sideways or upside down while giving gas will make it read full. do you think this is true?
its the sending unit in the tank. its either bad or stuck, try shaking the car and see if it starts reading more.
