Best Cheap Carp Rod And Reel In The US?
I'm on a budget but I'd like to buy a rod or two for carp fishing. I see that European carp fisherman use 12 foot spinning reels for long casting but what would be the equivalent to that here in the states that's widely available and cheap?
Shakespeare Tiger spinning or spincasting combo from Wal-Mart is pretty good but, my dream combo is a Zebco 33 Platinum on a 6' medium-heavy action Shakespeare Ugly Stik rod. Perfect for carp.
