Active duty and GI bill for spouse, dual BAH?
If someone is active duty military and signs their GI benefits over to their spouse, do both the soldier and spouse get BAH?
No there will not be a double payment of BAH while the service member is AD and the spouse is using the GI Bill. Only if the AD member is discharged will the spouse be allowed to get BAH or if the one using the GI Bill is prior military will BAH be paid.
