on 1989 ford f-350 with dual gas tanks, does each tank have a low presure pump?
i'm trying to figure out why i only get 30 lbs pressure to the injectors
yes,each tank has a low pressure fuel pump & the high pressure fuel pump is underneath drivers seat on frame rail.If you only have 30 psi,could be fuel pressure regulator or possibly the high pressure pump.Try switching tanks and see if your pressure changes.Note:there are check valves in the low pressure pumps and if one is not holding this will also cause low pressure.Try blocking off the return line frst and see if pressure increases if so then the problem is in the return side.if no increase could be one of the check valves.Good luck
