Draw Sticks
How do you draw hair and teeth?

I'm stuck on drawing hair and teeth using pencil, I jsut cant get the teeth to look right, and the hair never turns out how I want it to.

any tips?
thanks

Jack Kirby, an old comic book artist who as a friend of mine once said forgot more about drawing than most people will ever learn, used to draw white lines to indicate undifferentiated lines of teeth. This actually suggests the best approach: you draw areound the teeth first, show as much behind the teeth as you are going to, and the gums, then differentiate the teeth from the row of teeth last.

As for the hair, I sometimes have luck usually don't, but I figure out where the light source is then draw more hairs on the other side and work my way back to it. I try to be mindful of the forms the hair makes, but mostly I concentrate on what the hairs I see are doing than the shape of the hair itself.
