Chevrolet 4.3 motor has a bad miss but runs better when cylinder unplugged?
1995 Chevrolet S-10, 4.3 Vortec with CPI. Developed a bad miss so I changed plugs and wires, checked distributor cap, button, changed TPS, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump, and the spider unit. Truck still has a bad miss but I can unplug cylinder 2 and it runs alot smoother, can barely tell it has miss when that cylinder is unplugged. Please help. Thank you
It sounds as though the firing order may be off.
