make a list and stick to it- I save between $50 and $100 dollars every time I do the groceries with a list.
you do not need two dozen different cleaning products, multi purpose spray will do all the jobs you buy those other cleaners for.
check unit pricing and with things like laundry liquid how many uses you get out of it, sometimes it is more cost efficient to get the more expensive product.
shop at aldi if you have one near you- for me a trolley full of luxury items costs $150 there and over $400 at coles or Woolworths.
try to make meals from scratch- some prepackaged meals cost over five times as much as the same meal from scratch, and often they are the really easy to make ones too.
when looking for things to do on the weekend check with your local council- they should have a list of free events coming up.
