What size blade and comb attachment do I use for a Bichon, I just want to give her a regular puppy cut?
I used to groom my own dogs many years ago and just can't remember what size blade and comb to use.
A #4 blade will give you about 1/2inch of coat all over. There is #3-just a little longer but to use both blades you will have to make sure the coat is well brushed out . If they hit matts it may not go through or it will take the coat shorter in that area.
