Can u fit a swag light hangs from ceiling on a chain then plugged in wall outlet using 2 core wire no ground?
The swag light is made of metal, I have seen some lights wired like this just using 2 core wire, not 3

The light that was supplied comes with a 2 core lead and a bare separate gnd wire running outside of the twin core wire
If the swag come from the store with the 2 prong plug and UL inspection sticker you should be safe, they made these lamps a lot 35 years ago we all had them. Your other option is to put the grounding adapter on your plug. If this is a put it together my self thing re wire to grounded cord.
