Flips? huh what yeah?
how much xp in park do you think i need to attempt one? on skis? I've landed a cart wheel when i was younger. Should i try a lincoln loop instead of a back flip?
It's best to practice your movements on a trampoline. It doesn't hurt nearly as bad as some hard-packed landing off of a table.
If you don't have a trampoline you can work on it at a swimming pool too. Use the diving board it simulate (somewhat) the "pop" from your skis that helps thrust you upwards. And the water is softer than the snow can be.
If you have never done an invert you better start with something forwards, save the backflips til you've had some experience with take-off, body movements, and landing.
Once you're comfortable with simple front flips you can add some twists and grabs in for more advanced stuff.
