How much ground wire do i need for 1 amp?
i have all the wires but the ground wire. and i plan to put the amp in my trunk. so how many feet of ground wire would i need?
with all applications, shorter the wire the better..depending on the size of the amp your power and ground should be around 8 guage..like the others say find a bolt closest to the amp..take the bolt all the way out clean the bolt with a wire brush to get off any paint, sealer or even rust. Then sand or use a grinder to clean up where the bolt goes back in..and dont just wrap the wire around the bolt...use the proper connectors.
