Adjustable Bubbler
29 Gallon Tank???
I have a 29 gallon tank that soon will be fishless and I want to put some more fish in it. I dont want a huge community tank w/ any of the following livebearers, tetras, corydoras, danios, or bettas. Don't get me wrong, those are cool fish, I just want something different. I was thinking a cichlid, brakish, angelfish, gourami, or loach tank. I dont want a saltwater though, and I want fairly hardy fish. Do you have any ideas on what would be good to put in there? If so please be specific, like the number and species of fish. I would like some bottom, top, and middle species. I have a 30-55 gallon power filter, an air bubbler if necessary, adjustable heater, and some fake plants and some small hideouts. I wouldn't mind getting more plants and more hidouts if I need to.
Thanks!!! ![]()
Sorry I forgot to add this, but I Absolutely DONT want to feed the fish live fish, I just can't do that.
If I did do a cichlid tank, what type of alagae eater could I put in there.
Here is a suggestion you can go with if you like. Base on your specifications I would get a pair of Pearl Gouramis as your main fish. They are hardy and very peaceful. For bottom dwellers you could get a small shoal of Zebra Loaches. Then to help clean the algae get 3 or 4 Otocinclus. Don't get any fish that will grow to be very large like Bala Sharks.
