i had to cut up my bumper to make my FMIC fit and now i bought some sheets of ABS plastic i plan on forming into the desired shape to fill in spots of my bumper that are now empty, and make a new air dam. what tips does anyone have with doing this, also, what is the best way to get Bondo to adhere to ABS plastic. i have both regular and fiberglass bondo.
where and what do i get some of this fiberglass and resin? home depot, i read about that on eHow but idk what exact resin and stuff to get...
It's going to look horrible if you use ABS, just buy some fiberglass sheets and resin. You can sand it down if you use too much and it will look a whole lot better than plastic. Get an air cone and use dryer tubing from home depot to build a "custom" air dam.
